The Authorized Representative (AR) for your organization initiates the CRCP registration process by requesting a Personal Identification Number (PIN). Once the PIN Request process and CMS registration validation are complete, an email will be sent to the AR containing a numeric PIN. The AR then gives this PIN, along with the account ID, to the Account Manager (AM) who then completes the Account Setup process to create an account.
If the AM receives an invalid PIN error message during the Account Setup process, they should verify that the numbers they entered match the numbers in the email the AR received. The CRCP will only allow three attempts in a single session to enter the PIN correctly before the account is locked.
Contact an Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Representative at (646) 458-6740 to confirm or unlock the PIN.
