How to Change Your Account Representative

Your Account Manager is responsible for modifying your Account Representative's (AR's) contact information and replacing this individual as your Account Representative when necessary.

Note: An AR for an account can register as an AR for multiple accounts on the MSPRP.

To make these changes, your Account Manager must login to the Medicare Secondary Payer Recovery Portal (MSPRP) and complete the following steps:

  1. From the Welcome! (Home) page, click the Update Account Information link under Account Settings.
  2. For Corporate Account Types:
    • When the Update Corporate Information page displays click the Edit button next to the Account Representative (AR) Information section.
      The Update Account Representative (AR) Information page displays with all fields open for editing.
    • Make changes as necessary and click Continue to save your changes and return to the Update Corporate Information page. Your updated information will display.
    • Click Continue to advance to the Corporate Information Update Confirmation page which confirms that your updates have been made.
  3. For Representative Account Types:
    • When the Update Account Information page displays click the Edit button next to the Representative Information section.
      The Update Representative Information page displays with all fields open for editing.
    • Make changes as necessary and click Continue to save your changes and return to the Update Account Information page. Your updated information will display.
    • Click Continue to advance to the Update Account Information Confirmation page which confirms that your updates have been made.
  • Click Continue to return to your home page.
