The Account Setup introduction page allows you, the Account Manager (AM), to begin the account setup process.

These pages apply to both Group Health plan (GHP) and Non-Group Health Plan (NGHP) reporter types. You must have your RRE ID, PIN, and complete account information on hand. Partial account setup requests cannot be saved and completed later.

It is critical that the person completing this step be the AM for the RRE ID and provide a personal email address. This step must be completed for each RRE ID.

The AM will be a user of the Section 111 COBSW and obtain a login ID during this Account Setup step. The AM cannot be an Authorized Representative (AR) too. The AM and AR must be different individuals.

This step must be completed for each RRE ID you require for Section 111 reporting after the AR receives the email with the personal identification number (PIN) assigned to the RRE ID, which is after Step 1, New Registration and validation are complete. The AR must also provide the AM with the RRE ID assigned during Step 1, which is shown on the registration confirmation Thank You page. If this step was completed more than seven calendar (or 10 business) days ago and your AR has not received the PIN email, please contact your assigned EDI Representative.

As you proceed with the account setup process, review the information provided regarding the role of the AM. For further information regarding roles, see the Get Started help under the How To menu, or see the Section 111 user guide.

During account setup, your email address is used to verify whether you are a registered user to the Section 111 Secure Website (COBSW). If you are a new user, you will be prompted to create a new login ID and password. All users must provide AM personal and contact information and accept the User Agreement and Privacy Policy.
